It is the seventh patent of crypto-billionaires related to digital assets trading.
Winklevoss IP LLP Company owned by the founders of the Gemini cryptoexchange Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss received a new patent relating to digital assets and crypto-investments.
The document details the «for providing an exchange-traded product holding digital math-based asset» as well as the issue of the securities associated with such a product. It is not explained in the patent how exactly these ideas will be applied.
As the authors of the invention in the document appear both the brothers themselves and a few more people − Evan Louis Greebel, Kathleen Hill Moriarty and Gregory Elias Xethalis. It is already the seventh patent of the Winklevoss connected with crypto-investments.
In April the billionaires patented safer methods of protecting the transactions on the BTC network in the context of cloud computing implementation. Like the current document, this patent was registered on behalf of Winklevoss IP LLP.
